Bidjit.com NOT Associated with Bidz.com
Posted by News Writer on December 19, 2008
It has come to our attention that Bidjit users are concerned that Bidjit.com is associated and/or owned by Bidz.com. This issue has arisen, as Bidz.com is running ads on Google Adwords such as the one displayed below:
Bidjit.com

The link does NOT go to Bidjit.com, it goes to the Bidz.com homepage. Legal counsel for Bidjit.com has informed Bidz.com that they are using the Bidjit name without the expressed permission of Split Second Auctions, Inc. owner of the Bidjit.com name (and ALL extensions).
We do NOT promote, sell nor offer any advertising space to Bidz.com. We have absolutely NO affiliation with Bidz and the use our name in their Google ads is nothing more than an attempt to trade off our good name and reputation and to redirect traffic into their site using the Bidjit brand.

This is despicable! I have had dealings with both Bidjit.com and Bidz. To have Bidz directing people to their own site sounds fraudulent.
Bidjit.com has been first rate – increasing my sales, and doing so in such an inexpensive fashion that I currently use them exclusively. When you call Bidjit, a REAL person picks up the phone. When you email them, emails are answered almost immediately.
I have purchased from Bidz in the past. You have no way of knowing if they use shill bidding, with their “10 second re-starts” every time somebody bids. Their MSRP’s are absurd, and do NOT match to anywhere near what my jeweler has assessed their items to be. I have received FAKE items from Bidz, and have NEVER been successful in contacting their “Customer Service” Department. Returns have even cost me more than the item prices at times, due to restocking and postage fees.
Bidjit.com has taken the small business I work for and turned it around – for such little cost that it would be ridiculous for us to go anywhere else. Bidjit should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as that other company.
